bài phát biểu của Ông Bùi Đăng Hòa- Tổng thư ký hội VANDT.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
First of all I would like to welcome you who came from
overseas to Hanoi with 1000 year history. Thank you very much for your
participation in this Meeting. And on behalf of VANDT (Vietnam Association for
Non-Destructive Testing), I would also like to welcome warmly to the Meeting
and to wish you many achievements and successes.
It is an honor for me to have some words to
introduce shortly about VANDT:
VANDT was founded in December 1999 in response to
the demand from the providers and users of NDT for an Association to promote
the application of NDT and to encourage
research and development into viable techniques. The main activities of VANDT
have covered education, certification and standardization over the entire NDT
spectrum. Up to the year of 2009, there are 75 unit members and about 1500
individual members; 1200 persons have been trained and certified up to level 2
and 150 persons with NDT level 3 for the methods of RT, UT, MT and PT. The ET method is just only
launching from 2008 and now just stared developing.
We are known that you are running the Project
RAS/8/110 - Applying Advanced Digital Industrial Radiology and Computed
Tomography in Industry and Civil Engineering with the beneficiaries of the proposed project will be industries
engaged in casting, welding and metallurgical works, piping and tyre industries,
industrial production houses for mechanical components and assemblies and civil
engineering companies for quality control and assurance. In addition, these
techniques will also be applied for life assessment and diagnosis of old civil
engineering structures.
It is an honor for Vietnam to be one of the 14 countries to participate in this
project. We think this project is necessary and make benefit for all State
Members in extending and developing their NDT activities. For Vietnam, we
highly evaluate the Application of Advanced Digital Industrial Radiology and CT
in industry, as well as, the other advanced methods like Ultrasonic Phased Array
techniques and ect.
Lastly, I would like to thank you and to wish you
every success, especially we hope you can discuss and have the Project for the
next cycle of 2012- 2013.
PTTN-
VANDT (ghi)
